Seen at the mall. Much more interesting than the TLX near by.

Everything is more interesting than the TLX nearby.

There's no such thing as a TLX nearby.

Its that kind of thrill.

Valid counterpoint.

While it is a boring car, it doesn't look bad at all. I'd drive one.

Yeah small Fiats are the best.

Those wheels tho

Are those color–matched steelies???
![]() 12/13/2014 at 20:25 |

Those steelies are so perfect.
The world needs to be less afraid of a nice honest steel wheel, with maybe a tasteful little hubcap.... but none of this pretend you have alloys fake plastic wheel dressing bullshit.

I feel the same way

Even the 500L?
![]() 12/13/2014 at 20:32 |

Yes. I think is a anniversary edition of some kind.

There's a baby blue one around campus that I see on campus with color matched steelies as well.

Love these and the retro steelies VW has been putting on the Beetles. Completely agree with you.

Dem wheels is awesome.

How does a panda compare to the 500?

"Acura TLX" must be some kind of sleeping medication.
![]() 12/13/2014 at 20:36 |

Yes. Plain steelies look much better than anything covered with plastic.

Well, I guess not everything

I haven't driven a 500 but reviews say they're fairly similar to drive except the Panda has more body roll because it's taller. They share engines and chassis among other parts.

I've seen it in baby blue. I think the baby blue looks better.

i would have bought one if the clutch was better. When I test drove one, a turbo, not the Abarth, the clutch was like a light switch, either on or off. I could not modulate it for the life of me. In my old truck (rip) I could modulate it so I could crawl along in traffic without touching the gas pedal. In the 500, I gently let off the clutch trying to find the magic spot then I missed it and the engine stalled.
Also you know how it feels when you step on something that has elastic rebound? The clutch was that. Nopenopnononada

That's a 1957 Edition isn't it? That's the 500 to get if you're not buying the Abarth.

I believe it is. I would get the white one (pretty sure it comes in white) if I was going to buy one.

With whitewall tires, of course. I kind of see it as Fiat's take on Volkswagen's Ultima Edicion Beetles, except you don't have to wait for the last year of production to get one.

Its a 1957 Edition. Here's one in Blue!

The 500L is more interesting, just not in the way we generally want.

Drop the suspension to 500 levels? Abarth upgrades?
![]() 12/13/2014 at 22:53 |

I'm liking the fiat in this color. Wouldn't want to own one unless it was the Abarth but they're growing on me.

I am about those wheels!

My car already scrapes on the speed bump leaving my street so I can't really go any lower. The body roll isn't actually that bad, just worse than a 500.
I would love to see someone use a crashed donor 500 abarth to build a Panda Abarth though.

The Panda Abarth would have the coolest logo. A panda and scorpion fighting or something. You need to get on this.

If I had any kind of photoshop ability I'd try to make something up. Would make for a cool sticker for the car.
